General Conference Rescheduled
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the General Conference Session has been rescheduled to May 20-25, 2021, in Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition to the date being changed, the event has been scaled down. It will last only 5-days, as opposed to the 8-days that was planned for this year. Also, the number of attendees will be limited to delegates only, along with their spouses and dependent children. Technical staff will be included as needed.
Researchers from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), UCLA and Princeton University have found that COVID-19 can last for at least three hours airborne. All the more reason for us to self-isolate (“shelter in place”).
The Lord is my Shield
“I cried unto the Lord with my voice and He heard me out of His holy hill . . . Thou, O Lord, art a shield for me: my glory and the lifter of my head.” Psalm 3:4,3
